Children’s Ministry

There is a special place for children in the Kingdom of God (Matthew 19:14).  Children are not just a "childcare" issue for the church to solve, or even a strategic investment for the future, but presently members of the covenant community (Acts 2:39).  Therefore, we regard them as members of the church and strive to teach them the gospel of Christ.

Classes

lower elementary class (k-2nd grade)

The younger elementary class meets in the choir room, where they engage the gospel at a more rigorous and involving level. Children are able to learn, ask questions, and grow in knowledge and understanding under the guidance of loving teachers.

The older elementary class meets in the library, where they can begin to think more deeply about the Bible, salvation in Christ, and what it means to live for the glory of God.

The Children’s Ministry Committee

Our Children’s Ministry Committee is dedicated to teaching the gospel to the children at our church and equipping parents to disciple their children in their homes.

There is a great blog post by Sally Lloyd-Jones (author of the Jesus Storybook Bible) that articulates perfectly our vision for children's ministry.
